Adding a Facebook Pixel ID

Prado allows merchants to connect their storefront to Facebook (Meta) tracking tools by adding a Facebook Pixel ID and related credentials directly in the admin. This enables better tracking of customer actions, conversions, and campaign performance across Facebook and Instagram.


How to Add Your Facebook Pixel

  1. Step-by-Step Instructions
  2. Go to Admin V2 → Settings → Marketing → Integrations.
  3. Click Edit Settings.
  4. Enter the applicable Facebook credentials:
    1. Facebook Pixel ID
    2. Facebook Domain Verification Code
    3. Facebook Conversion API Token
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Once saved, Facebook tracking will be enabled based on the information you provided.


What Each Field Is Used For

Facebook Pixel ID
Tracks customer activity such as page views, add-to-cart events, and purchases for ad measurement and optimization.

Facebook Domain Verification Code
Verifies your domain with Facebook to support event prioritization and comply with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) requirements.

Facebook Conversion API Token
Sends server-side conversion events directly to Facebook, improving tracking reliability and attribution accuracy.


Important Notes

  • All fields are optional, but adding all three is recommended for the most accurate tracking.
  • Changes take effect after saving and may take some time to appear in Facebook’s Events Manager.
  • Prado does not create or manage Facebook accounts or pixels—merchants must obtain these values from Meta.

Tip: After saving your settings, use Facebook’s Events Manager to confirm that events are firing correctly and being received from your Prado storefront.
