Enhancements/Improvements🎉

🚀 Faster Order History and Exports

  • We've completely overhauled how your order history is loaded and exported. You'll notice a significant speed boost when viewing closed orders and exporting them to CSV, especially for stores with high order volumes. This makes managing and analyzing your historical data much faster and more reliable, preventing timeouts and errors on large reports.

🚀 Automated Box Calculation for Shipments and Pick Sheet Printing

  • Our system can now automatically calculate the optimal number and type of shipping boxes required for each order when printing pick sheets or using a shipping integration for nationwide shipping. Using a sophisticated bin-packing algorithm, it analyzes the dimensions of all products in an order and assigns them to the most efficient box size available, streamlining your fulfillment process. Must have shipping boxes configured and all items on an order must have a product packaging type set.

🚀 Multi-Box Pick-Sheet Labels

  • For large orders that require more than one shipping box, the platform now generates a unique 4x6" pick-sheet label for each individual box. The first label contains the complete item list for the entire order, while subsequent labels are clearly marked (e.g., "Box 2 of 3") for easy identification and organization during packing.

🚀 Enhanced Readability for Long Pick-Sheets

  • To improve clarity and save ink, the full customer and order information header will now only print on the first page of a pick-sheet. For orders with many items that spill onto multiple pages, subsequent pages will feature a cleaner, condensed header, making long lists easier to read.

🚀 Shipping and Packaging Improvements

  • Significant foundational improvements have been made to our shipping and packaging services to support these new features. We've also added an extensive suite of automated tests to ensure the bin packing logic is consistently accurate and reliable.

Bug Fixes🎉

🐛 Enhanced Checkout Reliability

  • We've improved our error logging for in-store and POS checkouts. In the rare event of a transaction failure, our system now captures more detailed diagnostic information. This allows our support team to identify and resolve any potential issues more efficiently.
  • We've resolved a potential issue within our new box calculation feature that could occur in rare cases involving items with no defined volume. This fix improves the stability and reliability of the automated packaging algorithm.
