How to customize Convenience Fee label at checkout?
Merchants can now customize the Convenience Fee label displayed during checkout and throughout the customer experience. This feature allows you to rename the label (e.g., “Service Charge” or “Packaging Fee”) to better align with your brand or business operations.
How to Edit the Convenience Fee Label
- Go to Admin → Online Store → Templates → Checkout.
- Locate the Convenience Fee Label field.
- Enter your preferred text (e.g., Service Charge, Handling Fee, Packaging & Processing Fee).
- Click Save Changes.
Your updated label will automatically appear across all customer-facing touchpoints.
Where the Updated Label Appears
Once saved, the custom text will reflect in the following areas:
- Checkout Page
- Order Confirmation Page
- Order Receipts
- Email Notifications
- Order History
This ensures consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience.
Note: If no custom label text is provided, the system will continue to display as Convenience Fee
