Bundles
Bundles - set up
You will now be able to create fixed bundles in order to sell a specific package of products!
To create a bundle, you will select Create Bundle within Admin > Products
Within the Bundle, you will be able to assign Bundle Products under the variant section of the product info page.
You will be able to track the inventory of the bundle products, however, if the bundle product runs out of stock it will not prevent the bundle from being purchased.
Availability of the bundle is determined at the bundle level, however, if a bundle product is no longer available it will either be swapped for a different product or removed from the bundle depending on the subscription & order settings.
You will be able to
- indicate a set price for the bundle within the Pricing section of the product.
- Assign tags and filters to the bundle
- Assign associated products to show on the product description page
- Assign a swap product for the entire bundle (for when the bundle is no longer available)
Notes
- Because the bundle is a collection of products, you can’t set ingredients or nutrition information within the Bundle.
- Because the customer can’t edit individual items in the bundle you can’t add products with modifiers to bundles, you will receive the error on the right.
Bundles - display
On the Menu, bundles will display alongside other products within the category you have assigned them.
When you click into the bundle to view the product description, customers will be able to view the product description and the bundle items assigned.
When a customer selects a bundle product from the list, they will be taken to that product's description page so that they can view ingredients & nutrition information for the individual product.

If persistent inventory is enabled, inventory will be entered at will and all orders will affect the entered inventory (subscription orders will remove product from the inventory after the order has been generated).

Configure Menu Navigation Dropdown - ADMIN & SHOP
Currently, Menu in the navigation header requires the customer to select menu, which produces the dropdown, and then select All Categories to get to the Menu. In this update we would like to allow merchants to configure if they would like the category dropdown or not.

Add hamburger menu on left in Tablet/Mobile - SHOP
When the website is being viewed on a tablet or mobile phone, there will now be a hamburger menu on the left side that contains the header navigation links.
Update Select Subscription Plan Modal - SHOP
When customers select cancel while adding an item in their existing subscription plan, the item they were trying to add would automatically be added to their current cart which could be confusing to a customer.
To avoid this, we are updating a few texts in the subscription modal. If a customer tries to add an item to an existing plan, they will be prompted with; “You are currently shopping the following subscription”
At the bottom, they will be asked, “Would you like to continue shopping this subscription?” and if they select “No”, they will be redirected to the subscription page where they will be asked which plan to manage/edit or to start a new order.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please feel free to reach out to Prado Support at support@getprado.com.
