Customer Experience
Allow Customers to select specific pickup times
In order to provide merchants with a better understanding of when their customers will pickup orders, we have added the ability to either offer customers general or specific timeframes.
If you choose to offer specific timeframes to your customers, you will be able to choose what time increments you want to offer
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
At checkout, customers will have the option to choose times that fit the increments selected that fall within the store hours.
If you choose to offer general timeframes to your customers, they will be able to select between
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Evening
NOTE: The setting for this is located within admin v2 > fulfillment > market > pickup settings. More information is provided within the Admin Portal section.
Text Verification
In preparation for transitioning customer’s accounts to use the phone number as the unique identifier, we are implementing text verification upon sign up through the website. This adds an extra layer of security for customer accounts.
Upon completing sign up details, the customer will receive a verification code to the phone number provided within sign up. To complete sign up, they will have to enter the verification code into the customer phone number verification modal.
Customers that edit their phone number within their profile will have to verify the new phone number.
Customers that create an account at the POS with their phone and complete creation of their account via the link sent to their phone will not have to verify their phone number.
Minimum Order Amount Modal
If a customer tries to proceed to checkout and they have not met the order minimum amount, the Minimum Order Amount Modal that is presented now fits within the updated design system.
Reminder: Minimum order amounts are set by market and fulfillment type. Therefore, a market can have different order minimums for store pickup, store delivery, and scheduled delivery.
Admin Portal
Ability to duplicate landing page
In order to make landing page creation more straight-foward, we have added the ability to duplicate a landing page. To duplicate a landing page, navigate to admin classic > marketing > website > pages and select the page you’d like to duplicate.
From here, select “duplicate page” & you will be displayed the duplicate page modal. Once you have saved, you will be directed to the edit view of the new page you have created.
Select specific pickup times configuration
We have implemented a configuration that will allow customers to either select a general timeframe or specific timeframe for pickup orders.
If allowing customers to select a general timeframe, they will be able to choose between morning, afternoon, and evening as their pickup timeframe at checkout.
If allowing customers to select a specific timeframe, they will be able to choose a specific time at checkout. You will be able to configure the time increments that are displayed to the customers (15 min, 30 min, and 1 hour increments).
No Tax option added to promotion code configurations
In order to allow merchants to offer tax-exemption + a discount when customers place an online order, we have added a tax exempt option within the promotion settings.
If this option is selected, the tax will be removed from the customers purchase.
Metrics - Executive Summary
Within the Analytics section of Admin v2, we have included an Executive Summary.
This calls out key metrics and compares them to the previous period to help our merchant gauge performance and growth.
The date picker has been updated to include quick pick date ranges.
POS
View Future Pick Up Orders
To allow stores to prepare for future orders & ensure they have enough product to fulfill, we have added the ability to view future orders within the pickup orders screen.
Within POS > Pickup Orders employees will be able to choose a date in the future to view orders that are scheduled.
Note: employees will not be able to pack/checkout orders when viewing future orders.
