Add On Products

We are excited to introduce a new feature designed to elevate your menu and boost your sales – the Add-On Modal. This capability allows you to offer exclusive add-ons to your customers, enhancing their meal experience and increasing your revenue.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Enabling Add-On Products
This is only accessible to markets that are using a fixed quantity tier pricing. Please ensure this by following the steps to see
- Go to Admin> Fulfillment> Select your market> edit the Tiered Pricing settings, look for the option to Allow Add-On Products for Fixed Quantity.
- Enable this option. This allows you to offer additional products when customers are editing their subscription products.
- After making these changes save your changes.
2. Customizing the Add-On Pop-Up
- To customize the add-on pop-up that appears when customers check out, navigate to Online Store > Menu Styling > Order Add-ons Pop-up.
- Here, you can edit the title and text in the modal. Make sure the content is compelling and clearly communicates the benefits of the add-ons.
- Save your changes.
Creating a Add On Product
Now that you've set up the add-on for your market you must add/create the add-on selection.
Preparing Your Product
- Navigate to the product tab from admin. Select/create the the product you want to convert into an add-on.
Enabling Add-On Product Status
- Within the Product Info Tab> see the Add - On button to toggle if this product will show as a add-on
- Note that if this item is add-on this will only show with in the add-on modal and will not be found in the menu
Testing the Add-On Product
- After setting up, test the add-on product functionality. Add a base product to your cart, proceed to checkout, and verify if the add-on product appears as intended.
- Or if you've opt out to have this trigger during checkout. Subscription customer will see this add-on modal when attempting to edit their subscription product selection.
- Make any necessary adjustments to improve the user experience.
