Receiving Inventory - Admin Portal
You are able to take inventory for your locations directly from the admin portal by selecting Stores > Inventory from the side panel menu.
The inventory page will list your locations alphabetically and they will be separated by market.
In order to take inventory for a specific store, select the store from the list populated on the inventory page. Once selected, you will be directed to the Daily Inventory view of the store selected.
The daily inventory management workflow includes:
- Receiving morning inventory - inputting opening counts based on previous night rollovers + newly received inventory
- Adjusting inventory - inventory adjustments throughout the day
- Finalize End-Of-Day Inventory - inputting rollover and expired/donation quantities
Before morning inventory is received, the Daily Inventory view will show rollover quantities from the previous night within the AOC (Actual On-hand Count) column.
Receiving Inventory
Select Receive Starting Inventory in order to enter the starting count of your items. You will enter the full amount for each item within the AOC column for each product & product variants. If you need to pause counting for any reason, you are able to select inventory counting in progress to save your progress and return at a later time.
When you are ready to submit your inventory, select Submit in the lower right corner. Or, if you need to start over, you can select Discard to delete all entries and return to the Inventory page to re-select your store.
Once submitted, you will be brought back to the Daily Inventory page which will now display the following for each product & product variant:
- Variant type
- AOC
- Shelf Adjust
- will list any adjustments made to the inventory after it was received
- Shelf
- how many items are currently in-store.
- Available
- how many items are currently available for sale online (shelf - to pack or packed column)
- To Pack
- how many items still need to be packed for online orders
- this number will change as orders are packed
- how many items still need to be packed for online orders
- Packed
- how many items have been packed into online orders
- this number will change as orders are packed
- this number will change as orders are packed
- how many items have been packed into online orders
