How do I troubleshoot my card reader?

Reset card reader

  • Remove the square card reader from the wedge
  • Press the button next to the USB-C port and hold until the red lights stop flashing (about 20 seconds)
  • Press the button once to turn the card reader back on and re-connect to the wedge

Ensure POS Connection

  • Within POS, select settings > ReaderSDK Authorize
  • select "Activate contactless payment"
  • select "contactless & chip" from the list and then choose "identify reader" to ensure the reader is connected
