Tax Cloud Setup Guide

Connect TaxCloud Account

  1. Within Admin Classic, navigate to Operations > Tax Provider Profile
  2. Select “Connect to TaxCloud”
  3. Enter the TaxCloud API Key & TaxCloud API Login ID
  4. Select Connect 

Add Delivery Fee Tax Code

  1. Once the TaxCloud account is connected, select Update Profile
  2. Choose Delivery Fee Tax Code from dropdown options

Add Tax Code to Products

  1. Navigate to Admin Classic > Products > Products
  2. Select individual product > Update definition
  3. Scroll down to Tax Code & Choose Tax Code from dropdown

Ensure there is a kitchen store with a specified address set up in each market

  1. Within Admin Classic > Operations > Markets
  2. Select Markets > Stores
  3. Ensure there is a store designated as “kitchen” with a specified address

Note: This is needed for TaxCloud as we have to specify both a source and destination address
