How do I set up my location?

Now that you have set up your fulfillment, it’s time that we add a location in this serviceable area or market. You can choose which type of location is this or set up the store hours.

  1. Go to Fulfillment
  2. Select the Market name you just created
  3. Click on the Create Location button

Location Details 

  • Retail Location - This is a physical retail location where customers can shop in-store. If desired, online orders can be placed at this store for Store Pickup and Store Delivery.
  • Pickup Location - This is a pickup point where customers (or delivery drivers) can pick up online orders that have been placed for Store Pickup and Store Delivery. There is no inventory on hand for customers to shop in-store.
  • Kitchen - This is a location that can be an inventory source for multiple other locations without being visible to customers within the shopping experience.

Name - it can be the actual name for the location like “Echo Park” or “State Building, etc. 

Temporarily Closed - you can turn on this button when you need to pause fulfilling orders from this location.

Internal ID -if any case you have a specific name for this location internally.

Square Location ID - you can either assign or create a new Square location. (See How to link Square to Prado)

Open Date - as a new merchant, you can add a date here on when you plan to launch this store to the public to start accepting orders.

Close Date - set a date if you are a seasonal seller from this location to avoid accepting orders after the close date.

Allow Store Delivery - turn this on if you’d like to offer on-demand orders from this location via DoorDash.

This Store is an Inventory Source - you can enable this if this location also supplies inventory to other locations.

Inventory Source - if the inventory from this store is coming from other locations or stores, you can assign it from the dropdown.

During fulfillment hours, what is the soonest orders can be picked up?

  • Same-day -this will allow your customers to pick up their orders the same day it was placed.
  • Following Day - the soonest your buyers can pick up their order will be the following available day after they placed the order.

Do you want to allow customers to schedule pickup orders in advance?

  • Yes, my customers can schedule pickup orders in advance - it allows your buyers to place a pickup order depending on how far you’d like to set this up.
  • No, I don't want my customers to schedule pickup orders in advance. - this means customers can either pick up the order today or the following day from the time the order was placed.

Address Details - the details you will put here will be reflected in the customer’s view. See the sample below;

Directions Link - This is the URL for the Get Directions link within the Locations page. This can be a map link or a Google Business Profile link.

Store Hours - you can set the time when this store starts operations and when it closes. You can also select the dates it is available. Note that orders will stop being taken at closing time.

Note: Tax Rates are at the merchants' discretion.
