How to Hide Pickup or Delivery Time at Checkout?

Some merchants prefer to control when customers are notified for pickup or delivery rather than allowing them to select a specific time during checkout. This is ideal for kitchens or stores that prepare orders on-demand and notify customers when orders are ready.

With the "Hide Pickup Time Options" and “Hide Delivery Window Options” setting, you can easily remove the pickup or delivery time selector from the checkout page.

  • You don’t want customers choosing a specific pickup/delivery time.
  • You notify customers when their order is ready instead.
  • You want a cleaner, faster checkout experience.

🔧 How to Hide Pickup Time

Follow these steps in your Admin Dashboard:

  1. Go to Admin > Online Store
  2. Navigate to Templates > Checkout
  3. Click Edit Settings
  4. Find the option: “Hide Pickup Time Options” or “Hide Delivery Window Options”.
  5. Toggle it ON
  6. Click Save

🛍️ Customer Experience

When this setting is enabled:

Customers will not see a pickup or delivery time dropdown during checkout.

Instead, For Pickup they’ll see a message like:

“You’ll be notified when your order is ready for pickup.”

This makes it clear that your team will contact them once their order is prepared and ready for pick up.

For Delivery, they'll see the delivery window blank but the date is clearly visible.


🔄 To Show Pickup Time/Delivery Window Again

If you’d like to re-enable pickup time selection in the future, simply return to the same setting and toggle “Hide Pickup Time Options” “Hide Delivery Window Options” to OFF.
