How do I troubleshoot my card reader?
Reset card reader
- Remove the square card reader from the wedge
- Press the button next to the USB-C port and hold until the red lights stop flashing (about 20 seconds)
- Press the button once to turn the card reader back on and re-connect to the wedge
Ensure POS Connection
- Within POS, select settings > ReaderSDK Authorize
- select "Activate contactless payment"
- select "contactless & chip" from the list and then choose "identify reader" to ensure the reader is connected
